The HITSS Operations Team is responsible for providing NASA HQ
infrastructure services on a 24/7 basis. We support HQ networks,
servers, operations & production control, and telecommunications
including the Network Operations Center (NOC) and the Server Operations
Center (SOC). We also work with other HITSS and NASA organizations to
provide customer notification when infrastructure problems/issues arise.
Our team has the expertise and experience to ensure IT assets are
protected from vulnerabilities and properly configured to optimize
performance, reliability, and availability.

- System software installation, maintenance and management
- Computer operations.
- Capacity planning and performance tuning.
- Configuration management.
- Safety, physical and IT security administration.
